In this course, students embark on a creative journey that explores the technology, art, & science of transforming ideas into tangible realities using both 2D drawings and 3D prototypes. Discover the fundamentals of spatial design and product development, from idea to outcome. Students take that idea and transform it into 3D using prototyping techniques and materials such as cardboard and hard materials. Learn how to harness the power of laser cutters and other advanced tools to transform 2D designs into precise, three-dimensional models. Experiment with textures, shapes, and mediums to refine prototypes into functional and visually striking creations.Throughout the course, engage in hands-on projects that challenge your creativity and problem-solving skills.
