Course Description
Geography will give students an understanding of the environment as the home of the people and introduces the basics of both physical geography and human geography. Topics include environmental impacts of tourism in Malaysia and Thailand, an investigation into the impacts of the world’s fertility rate, geographic research, analysis of an environment shaped by an extreme natural event e.g. Christchurch 2011 earthquake, and geographic skills such as mapping and graphing.
This course is semester based and students can choose to take one or both semesters of the course.
