French 101 - Te Reo Wīwī 101
By focusing on real life scenarios, students will be able to travel, work, and communicate at a basic level in French speaking communities. Topics covered are daily life, jobs, travel and tourism, movies, and arranging to go out. They will study places in Marlborough with French links, Akaroa and New Zealand’s link to French towns such as Le Quesnoy and Arras. The standards achieved at this level provide excellent ‘survival’ skills with emphasis given to getting the basics right and a mastery of the basic tenses and grammatical structures.
