Course Description
This course is intended for Year 12 and 13 students who wish to develop their academic reading and writing skills and for English as Second Language (ESOL) students. You will gain confidence in communicating ideas in structured written form. Rather than focusing on literature studies, this course places an emphasis on researching, developing a formal argument, report writing, and presenting in preparation for tertiary study. The course will consist of assessments undertaken by the whole class and independently selected assessments. Your teacher will help you to make your independent selections. All standards undertaken in this course are internally assessed.
