This course will teach you how to become a more confident and persuasive person. The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively is a vital life skill. Through the use of facts, logic, presentation techniques and assertiveness, you will be able to get your way in life more often. You will learn research skills, how to write and speak persuasively, how to structure and perform a debate, and most importantly, how to develop your personal confidence.

• Prepare and structure a debate in a team.
• Negotiate something with your whanau, present it to them and record it.
• Write a letter to someone such as a community leader, politician or the principal.
