Course Description

Sports science provides a comprehensive understanding of how the human body responds to exercise and how it can be optimised for athletic performance. 

                                                                                                                   

You will learn through and about movement with coverage of anatomy, biomechanics and exercise physiology. 

You will explore methods and principles of training, which are the guidelines that athletes use to structure their training programs. You will also research various issues that can arise in sports, such as injuries, doping, and ethical considerations surrounding performance-enhancing drugs.
