Course Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr M. Lower.
This course involves the study of a range of short texts such as stories, poems, songs, and magazine articles. Internally assessed standards you will undertake include a ‘close viewing’ of the film studied and a research assignment. Students will be encouraged to make connections between texts and with current-day issues in New Zealand and globally. The assessments undertaken in this course are mainly internally assessed. Additionally, you will prepare to sit the film-based external standard.
